Archibald 'Archie' Pyke

It is with sadness that we, the family of Archibald 'Archie' Pyke, announce his peaceful passing on July 31, 2015 at Norwood Hospice in Edmonton.
Archie was born in Sydney, the son of the late Archibald and Bella (Inkpen) Pike. Archie served 29 years in the Canadian Forces Black Watch and Peri in many locations.
Surviving are his children, Stanley, Arlene (Colin), Ronald, Rhonda (Steve), Archie, and Jennifer (Barry); 16 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren. Also surviving are brothers, Robert, George, David and Charles; sisters, Geraldine Smith, Annabella Wambolt, Sylvia Colbourne, Carol Jewer and Louise Broussard.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his loving wife, Edna Lu (Sarson) Pyke; daughter, Patrice; granddaughter, Catherine Mombourquette; sister, Ameta Stephens and brother, Wallace Pyke.
Cremation has taken place in Edmonton.
