Anne Louise Korber

PICTOU – Anne Louise Korber, age 76, of Pictou, passed away Monday, August 3, 2015 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow, with her daughter by her side.
Born in Saint John, New Brunswick, she was the only child of Earl and Margaret (Woodburn) Piggott. Anne loved to travel the world, having taken numerous trips. She also enjoyed time spent closer to home in the company of her beloved cats, enjoying summers at her trailer by the shore, selling Avon, going to the movies and taking in as many local events as she could.
Anne will be dearly missed by her daughter, Kathy and son-in-law, Gary; her grandsons, Ryan and Chad, who she was so proud of. Anne also leaves behind cherished close friends who were such a big part of her life. She was predeceased by her parents and her husband, Karl. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation by request. Funeral service to be held Thursday, August 6, at 2:00 pm in the McLaren Funeral Home, Pictou. Burial will be in Seaview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Granton SPCA or the Canadian Liver Foundation. Her family would like to thank the staff at the Aberdeen Hospital and RCU, Dr. Cheryl Smith, the VON and Dr. Peltekian at the Multi Organ Transplant Clinic who gave Mom the life many never get to enjoy.
