Enos Mills
OXFORD & ADVOCATE HARBOUR – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Enos E. Mills, age 84, of Oxford and formerly of Advocate Harbour on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at All Saints Hospital, Springhill after a short but courageous battle with cancer, his loving family by his side.
Born in Apple River, he was a son of the late Edwin and Hallie (Atkinson) Mills.
He was a retired lumberman and trucker.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, the former Katherine MacGillivray; daughters, Betty Grant, Labrador City; Linda Mills( Lloyd ) Halifax; Nancy Mills (Bob) Oxford; sisters, Prudence Price, B.C.; Hilda Hamilton, Advocate; Kathy Heighton, Halifax; brothers, Lawrence, Port Greville; Gerald, Truro; grandchildren Shannon ( Bobbie ) Pettigrew, Cory ( Brenda) Grant, Kathrine Williams. Great-grandchild Ebony Pettigrew. Several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by sisters, Marjorie Dunbar; Georgie Dauphinee; brothers, Allison, Billy, Ralph.
