PARRSBORO – Glendon A. Simmonds, age 68, of Parrsboro passed away Thursday, July 30, 2015 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan.
Born in Halfway River, he was a son of Phyllis (Gilbert) Simmonds, Amherst and the late James 'Tody' Simmonds.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy (Forbes) (Weatherby) Simmonds; daughters & stepdaughters, Starr, Nicole, Anita, Patricia; sons & stepsons, Jamie, Norris, Jonathan, Mark, Charles, George, Paul; sisters, Irene, Wendy, Paula; brothers, Peter, Paul, Cyril, Dale, Ken 'Bucky', Dellas, Danny, Dave 'Beaver'; several grandchildren, great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his stepfather, the late Kervin Pettigrew; brothers, Charles, Doug 'Wayne', James.
Funeral was held Monday, August 3, 2015 from Smith’s Funeral Home, Parrsboro, Rev. Marlene Quinn officiating. Burial in the Parrsboro United Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice. Online condolences at www.smithsfuneralhome.com
