Veronica Campbell
We the family of the late Veronica Campbell whose funeral was held at Holy Redeemer Church on July 30, 2015, wish to extend our heartfelt appreciation to our relatives, friends and neighbours for their kindness and support shown to us during our recent loss. Thank you to all who attended Veronica’s wake and funeral service. It was a wonderful tribute to her life. Our thanks to celebrant, Father Paul Murphy for his special celebration of Veronica’s life and his words of comfort. Thank you to the choir for their beautiful hymns and the CWL for the delicious lunch. Thanks to the pallbearers, Malcolm MacLennan, Dave Morrison, Gerard Mackenzie and three of Veronica’s nephews, Alex Campbell, Bill Burke and Terry Keough. Thank you to the readers, Bill Burke, Sandra MacLennan and Jennifer Chmiel who travelled from Orleans ,Ontario to be with us. Thank you to Veronica’s nieces, Louise Tierney for her beautiful eulogy and to Coleen MacKenize, Sandra Maclennan and Jennifer Chmiel who presented the Offertory gifts. Veronica was so proud of all of us. A special thank you to Dr. Paul Murphy for his dedication and care over the years. We extend our gratitude and appreciation to Dr. Ann Francis D’Intino and the An Cala Palliative Care Unit for the marvelous care, support and compassion shown to Veronica during her brief illness. Thank you to Annette Graham, Bill Curry and the staff of Curry’s Funeral Home for their guidance and professional service. Thank you to all who sent mass and sympathy cards and donations to Cape Breton Regional Hospital Foundation, Hospice Palliative Care, MacGillivary Guest Home and St. Mary’s Parish, East Bay Cemetery Fund in Veronica’s memory. Thank you to Veronica’s special friends and the staff at the Richard Hines Manor and the MacGillivary Guest Home for their love and support. Many thanks to those who send food, flowers, made phone calls to our homes, travelled miles to be with us, sent on line condolences and remembered us in their prayers. We will forever remember your kindness.
