Passed away peacefully at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Sunday, August 09th, 2015. Ethel Mary Benson (nee Cole) predeceased by her beloved husband William Lloyd Benson. Leaving with fond and loving memories, son, William (Susan), daughters Sandra (Don) Antle, Olga Pippy, Carol (Gerald) Clancey, Heather (Fraser) Drover, and Linda Benson (Rick Bennett); sister Agnes Toope; 13 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Sylvia (Doug) Phelan, Olga (Joe) Benson and Rollande; brothers-in-law Roy (Betty) Benson and Leslie (June) Benson, plus a large circle of family and special friends Joyce Smith and Yvonne Oates. Cremation to take place before the church service. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Rd, on Tuesday August 11th, 2015 from 7-9 pm, Wednesday August 12th 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm, and Thursday August 13th 2-4 pm. Funeral service will be held on Friday August 14th , 2015 at St. Augustine's Anglican Church, Westerland Road at 9:30 am. Interment to follow in Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
