Mount Thom - Arnold George Smith, age 73, of Mount Thom, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2015 in the Aberdeen Hospital. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late George Clifford and Vivian Irene (Eisenhauer) Smith. He was a retired baker and a member of St. Luke’s United Church. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie (MacPhee); son, Clifford, Ontario; daughters: Roseanne, Halifax; Sandra (Cary Clark), Lower Sackville; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brothers: Bruce (Phoebe); George (Diane); sister, Beverly, all of Hammonds Plains; 2 nephews, 2 nieces. He was predeceased by a brother, Alvin; infant sister, Tina; nephew, David. A gathering will take place on Saturday, August 29, from 2-6 pm at 1492 Cove Road, Mount Thom.
