It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gordon Reid announce his passing on Monday, August 10, 2015 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook in his 87 year. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his daughters: Karen (Howard) Jesso, Gloria Reid (Robert) Burton, Barbara (Randy) Baker, son: Tony (Nancy), grandchildren: Michael, Sherri (Chris), Shawn (Vikki), Christopher (Miranda), and Jeffery, great-grandchildren: Zachary, Alyson, Colton, Colbie, and Ethan, and his furry friend Samson, sisters: Alma Earle, and Daphne Sparks, sisters-in-law: Beth Ryder, Judy (Norb) Joyce, brother-in-law: Ralph McWhirter, extended sisters and brothers and staff at Mountain View Retirement Centre and a circle of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Lottie and son Harold. Visitation will take place at Fillatre's Funeral Home 4 St. Mark's Avenue on Wednesday August 12th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Humber United Church on Clarence Street on Thursday August 13th at 10:30 AM with Reverend Jocelyn Cook officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery.
