Born at home in Oldbury, Great Britain on December 10, 1945, and died unexpectedly in his home in St. John's on August 9, 2015. Son of the late Edward and Louie (Davis) Green. Roger is survived by his wife, Gemma Giovannini and their son Zachary Giovannini-Green, son Jason (Jennifer), Mississauga, ON; daughter Zoë (Kevin), Dundas, ON; grandchildren Nathan, Callum, Targän and Quillan. Roger joined the Faculty of Medicine, Memorial University in 1972 and took great pride in knowing that he had lectured every doctor who graduated from Memorial's Faculty of Medicine. In recent years he was a professor in the Discipline of Medical Genetics, retiring in September, 2014 as Honorary Research Professor. Cremation has taken place.
