Winter
Passed peacefully away at The Salvation Army Glenbrook Lodge, St. John’s on Saturday, August 8, 2015 Marjorie Winter age 85 years of Badger‘s Quay. She is predeceased by her husband Jesse; son Junior; daughter Angel; parents Josephine and George Howell; sister Olive; son-in-law Paul; brothers-in-law Arthur, Stan, Arch, Eric, Pearce, Ned, Lewis and Walter; and sister-in-law Mary. Left with fond and loving memories are her sons Gordon(Linda), Herbert(Eva), Ramsey(Glenda), Guy(Philomena), Dean and Rodney(Kelly); daughters Josephine(Ken), Janet, Marie(Tom) and Olive(Jim); brothers Fred(Maggie), Howard(Laura) and Charles(Shirley); sisters Eleanor, Emma, Lillian and Leah; sister-in-law Ida; 23 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Funeral service took place at St. Alban’s Anglican Church, Badger’s Quay on Wednesday, August 11, 2015 with Rev. David Coffin officiating. Interment followed at St. James Anglican Cemetery, Pool’s Island. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove.
