Passed peacefully away at her residence on August 13, 2015, age 88 years. Predeceased by her husband John, parents Mona Blandford Kean and Captain Reginald Kean; brothers Bruce and Reggie. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children Jennifer (Garland Jennings), Stephen (Sharon), Elizabeth Hutchison (John) and Christopher; also very special sister Judy White; grandchildren Ann and Jonathan Jennings, Stephanie Jeans, Alexandra and Lindsay Hutchison, special niece Roxanne Matthews and other relatives and friends. The family would like to thank the staff of Tiffany Village for their kind and compassionate care, especially in the final few weeks of her life. Cremation has taken place. A private family service and interment will be held at a later date. As an expression of sympathy donations in Sylvia’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
