Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at St. Patrick's Mercy Home. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Peter; sons, John Thomas and Nicholas; daughter-in-law, Rita; son-in-law, Kevin Ducey; brother, Frank Philpott; sister, Josephine Fennell. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are Mary's daughter: Ellen Devereaux-Ducey; sons, Peter (Mary), Austin (Marie) and Donald; daughter-in-law, Anne Marie; ten grandchildren and a wide circle of family and friends. Special thanks to Fr. Kevin Barker at St. Patrick's Mercy Home who has been a wonderful friend and a source of comfort. Cremation has taken place at Mary's request. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, Saturday, August 15, 2015 from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. with a private funeral service and interment to follow at King's Cove at a later date.
