Age 83 years, passed peacefully away on August 14, 2015. Predeceased by her husband Cecil, parents John and Mary Kavanagh, brothers Francis and Robert and sisters Katherine and Mary. Leaving to mourn her loving children Paul (Donna), Kathy (Murray Tough), Mark and Michael (Kathleen). Her grandchildren, Matthew, Andrea, Jillian, Jennifer, Connor and Kaitlyn and great granddaughter Alanna, brother John and sister Peg Shea (John) and a large circle of family and friends. Bernice was a wonderful mother and a long time member of Beta Sigma Phi and the St. Theresa's congregation. A sincere thanks to the staff of the Miller Center, Carmel Collins and the many people who called or visited. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Rd. Visitation Monday and Tuesday from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, August 19th, at 9:30 a.m. from St. Theresa's Church. Cremation to follow.
