Passed peacefully away at the Interfaith Citizen's Home, Carbonear on Friday, August 14, 2015, Frederick S. Powell of Carbonear, age 73 years. Predeceased by parents: Frederick and Mildred. Leaving to mourn, one brother: John (Bette), Mount Pearl; nephew: Tony (Judy) Powell; niece: Kim (Chris) Noseworthy; three grand-nephews: David Powell, Clarke Noseworthy and Colby Stamp; special cousin: Doreen (Lorne) Squires, Mount Pearl; special friend: David Davis, Harbour Grace; staff and residents of the Interfaith Citizen's Home; also a number of other cousins and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Saturday, 2-5 p.m., 7-9 p.m., Sunday, 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Sunday, August 16 at 2 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear.
