Edward Osborne passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health, Bowmanville in his 76th year.
Son of the late Victor and Edna Osborne. Beloved husband of Anita. Father of Kim (Dave) and Kurt (Lynn). Devoted grandpa to Mikayla and Kieran. Brother to Carole (Paul) and Heather (Ron).
Ed was born in Sydney, N.S. Having joined the Canadian Armed Forces in 1960 and served in Cypress in a Peacekeeping capacity. In total he served eight years in the military. In 2000 he retired to Thomasburg, Ont. Where woodworking became a hobby along with fishing with his grandchildren and listening to his favourite music. Almost everyone enjoyed his sense of humour and corny jokes and his grandkids delighted in his magic tricks. He loved his country property and took pride in taking care of it. In lieu of a funeral service, family and friends will be invited to gather at a time and place to be announced at a later date.
