1939-2015
Jeanne (Heppell) Daigle, 76, wife of Ron Daigle, of Grand-Barachois, passed away peacefully on Monday August 17, 2015 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born on February 15, 1939 in Dalhousie, she was the daughter of the late Albert Gonzague and Sylvia (Doucet) Heppell.
Prior to her retirement, Jeanne worked as a teacher and a secretary with the Department of National Defense Supply Depot #5.
Besides her husband, she is survived by three children: Joanne Cormier (Ron DesRoches), Marc (Richard Cyr) and Christian (Katy); three grandchildren: Sylvie, Mélanie and Lucas; two brothers: Arthur (Lucette) and Edmond (Raymonde); two sisters: Annette LeBlanc (Gérard) and Claire Hanley (late Mike); as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by one grandson, Stéphane (2012) and her beloved dog, Bernie.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) from where the funeral service will be celebrated on Friday August 21 at 2 pm. Visiting hours are Friday from 1 pm until time of funeral. In memory of Jeanne, a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation (oncology) or to the Greater Moncton Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) would be appreciated.
