Arnold J. Boyd
1933-2015
The death of Arnold Joseph Boyd of Johnville occurred on Monday, August 17, 2015 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville. Born April 23, 1933 in Johnville he was the son of the late Cloud and Gertrude (Pickard) Boyd. He was also predeceased by one son, Stephen Andrew Boyd; three siblings, Basil Boyd (Theresa), Madeline Logue (Johnny) and Walter "Sam" Boyd; three brothers in law, Ronald Barry, Walter Krochenski and Joseph Benson.
Arnold is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Cecelia; four children, Robert Boyd; Michael Boyd (Jackie), Jackie Brennan (Paul) and Pauline McIntyre (Rob); nine grandchildren, Lucas Boyd , Jared Boyd, Leslie Boyd, Ellen Boyd, Ben Brennan (Emily), Alice Brennan, Mollie Brennan, Emily McIntyre and Ethan McIntyre; two great-grandchildren, Evoleht and Blane Brennan; five sisters, Helen Barry, Barbara Krochenski, Billie Benson, Denise Vanderkley (Karel) and Pauline Lavery (Alex); one sister in law, Betty Boyd as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.
Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 from 4 to 8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at 11:00 am from St. John the Evangelist Church, Johnville. Fr. Owen Burns as celebrant. Interment will be in the Johnville Cemetery with a reception following in the church hall.
