Suddenly and surrounded by her family at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, on Tuesday, February 3, 2009, of Mrs. Norma Doyle of Savage Harbour, age 84 years. Beloved wife of Ernie and dear mother of Cheryl (Robert) Walsh, Brenda Lee (Parker) MacDonald, and Eddie (Janet). Norma will also be sadly missed, but fondly remembered, by her grandchildren Penny and Kyler Walsh, Kendra and Kelsey MacDonald, Jillian, Erin and Lydia Doyle, her brothers Sheldon and Elwood (Lottie deceased) Donnelly, brothers and sisters-in-law Veronica Forestell, Helen Reid, Ronald (Pauline) Doyle, Denise Doyle, Alphonse Doyle, Earl (Joan) Doyle, Irene Doyle, Ann Noonan and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Edward and Nellie (MacIntyre) Donnelly, her brothers Gerard and Vernon Donnelly and her sister Eileen (Raymond) Arsenault. Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 10:15 on Saturday morning, then transferred to St. Andrew’s Church, Mt. Stewart, for funeral mass at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in St. Andrew’s Parish Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held on Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. If so desired, memorial contributions in Norma’s memory may be made to St. Andrew’s Parish Cemetery Fund.
