The family of the late Roy Campbell wish to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all those who helped in any way to alleviate our sorrow due to the loss of our dear father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, relative and friend.
Our Dad lived a very simple life that exemplified the joy of family, doing a good day’s work, laughter and being grateful for many blessings.
His heart would have been grateful as ours was for: the expressions of sympathy through thoughts, prayers, cards, flowers, phone calls, messages, visitations, food, monetary donations and the travel of many to be with us at this difficult time.
Also thanks and appreciation should be extended to: the Deer Lake Salvation Army Church members along with Majors Wayne and Betty Ann Pike, Major Winnie Burt and her team for the consistent support and constant reminder of God’s never ending love over the last few years, everyone involved with the beautiful service to help celebrate Dad’s life, Dad’s Home Care Workers Martha Ryland for her compassion and care of him, the many people who went above and beyond the call of duty at WMRH especially the three “angels” and Dr. Lafferty in the Palliative Care Unit, Dr. Fay for his medical care and attention, Parson’s Funeral Home staff for their professionalism and kindness.
To Eleanor: we owe a debt of gratitude for “going above and beyond” to ensure Dad was content, happy and able to stay in his home until the end.
The kindness of all will never be forgotten, God Bless!
Ever remembered, ever loved.
