Mackin, Janet Louise
Janet Louise Mackin, wife of the late Roy Douglas Mackin, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 30, 2015 at the Dr. Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton, NB.
Born November 8, 1940 she was the daughter of the late William and Janet Louisa (Walker) Cunningham. In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased by her daughter Mary Caroline Mackin; sisters Margaret McGillivray, Ruth Albert and Frances Strachan; brother William Cunningham.
She is survived by her son Michael Mackin (Josee); daughter Catherine Rhyno (Dean); grandchildren Thomas Shannon (Pauline) and Timothy Shannon, Stephanie and Kaylee Mackin; brother Norman Cunningham (Joan); and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424). A private family graveside service will be held at St. Augustine’s Cemetery, Grand Bay-Westfield.
