TAYLOR, CHARLES
Charles Oulton Taylor, loving husband of Barbara (Fraser) Taylor, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 31, 2015 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Shediac, NB he was the son of the late Milton and Jane (Atkinson) Taylor.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his daughter Nancy Lynn Taylor; brothers Ivan Taylor and Claude Taylor (late Helen).
Charlie had worked as a greenhouse manager for Rae Fraser Ltd, then as a Life Agent with SunLife. He was a member of Forest Hills Baptist Church. He loved spending summers with his family at the lake.
Beside his loving wife of 66 years, Barbara, he is survived by his sons Rick Taylor (Susan) of Saint John and David Taylor (Rheal) of Moncton; cherished grandchildren Colin (Desiree), Jean Pierre, Ben (Melissa), Michael (Dennis), Jennifer (Steve), Angela (Peter), Meredith (Tony), Matthew (Sheri) and Emily; and several great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers Albert Taylor of Ontario and Allan Taylor of Shediac; sister Jane Shaw of Ottawa; sister-in-law Ginnie Taylor; several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424). The funeral service will be held from Forest Hills Baptist Church on Wednesday, September 2 at 1 p.m. Visitations will be held from 11 am until service time. A reception will follow in the church hall. A private family interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery.
