Passed peacefully away at The Health Science Center, surrounded by her loving family on Monday, August 31, 2015, Anita Mary Bishop, age 78. Predeceased by her loving husband Herbert (April 28, 2015); parents: John and Agnes Baird; her brother: Frank Baird and sister: Jean Murphy. Leaving to mourn with cherished memories her daughter: Holly White (Perry), sons: Terry (Sharon), Derrick (Cindy) and Danny (Pamela) as well as her brother-in-law: Frank Murphy and daughter-in-law: Jennifer. Also leaving to mourn a large number of grandchildren: Matthew (Denielle), Jessica (Keith), Brittany (Gary), Adam, Ashley (Adam), Devon, Katherine and Charlotte; and great-grandchildren: Eric and Nixon; as well as a large circle of other family and many friends. The Bishop family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Roxanne and Dr. Lear for their continuous compassion and care. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Ave, Mount Pearl on Wednesday and Thursday 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, September 4, 2015 at 9:30 am from Mary Queen of The World Parish. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Cremation has already taken place.
