Peach, Frederick Owen (Fred), age 77, of Windsor Forks, Hants Co., passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 30, 2015, at the Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born on August 14, 1938, in Windsor Forks, he was the son of the late Owen and Lillian (Williams) Peach. Fred was employed at Fundy Gypsum Company, for over 43 years, retiring as Heavy equipment mechanic. He survived by his wife of 56 years, Betty (Lunn) Peach; son, Sandy (Tia) Peach of Windsor Forks; grandson, Nicholas Peach; sister, Gladys (Lawrence) Hogan of Brockville, Ont.; brother, Gordon Peach (Gwen) of Mt Uniacke; several nieces and nephews. Beside his parents, he was predeceased by daughter, Judy Peach (1959); sister, Shirley Hunter; brother, Ken Peach. Cremation has taken place, under the care of the R. D. Lindsay Windsor Funeral Home, 194 King Street, P.O. 2218, Windsor, B0N 2T0. A family graveside service was held at 1 p.m. Sunday, September 6, 2015, in Maplewood Cemetery, Windsor, with Mr. Cory Lunn (nephew) officiating, followed by a Celebration of Life Reception, 2-4 p.m. at 4256 Highway 14, Windsor Forks.
