Passed peacefully away at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, on March 19, 2008, Margaret Ball (nee Ash), long-time resident of Glenwood, in her 87th year. Predeceased by her husband Robert Bertram (December 22, 2003); four brothers and one sister. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her sons Robert (Trudy) of Milton, Ontario; Glen (Trudy) of Appleton; Albert (Glenda) of Lewisporte; David (Agnes) of Pynns Brook; Bill (Ruby) of Victoria and daughters Ruth (Eugene Vaters) of Glenwood; Verna (Lloyd Collins) of Bishop's Falls; Lynn (Eric Anderson) of St. John's; Sandra (David Sheppard) of Mount Pearl; Cheryl (Lloyd Wheaton) of Glenwood; also, twenty-two grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren; three sisters Amelia Keefe, Ethel Dearing, Mildred Pretty and a large number of other relatives and friends. Funeral service was held on Sunday, March 23, 2008 at Riverside Pentecostal Church, Glenwood with Pastor Laun Brushett officiating. Interment followed at the Riverside Pentecostal Cemetery, Glenwood.
