Mary Catherine LeDrew, age 92, formerly of Westville, passed away on Sunday, September 7, 2015 in Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow.
Born in Cape Breton, she was a daughter of the late Martin and Catherine (MacIntyre) Sweeney.
She is survived by daughters Toni MacDonald (John K.), Brule; Mary Lou Fulton (Jeffrey), Westville; Bonita Lockhart (Ken), Westville; Pamela (Andy), Lawrencetown; sons Reginald (Carole), Montreal; Fred (Brenda), Hazel Glen; Bob (Colleen), Caribou River; Forbes (Ella), Westville; grandchildren Sophie, Jacob, Holly, Conor, Trinette, Adam, Roy, Anuli, Jackie, Charles, Kenny, Michael, Jessica; great-grandchildren Cooper, Evelynn, Aviana; and sister, Carmel Gauvin, St. Lambert, Quebec.
She was predeceased by her husband Charles LeDrew; sister Ellen Kent; brothers, Allan, Earl, Lloyd and James Sweeney.
Mary’s life will be celebrated in accordance to her wishes. She will be interred in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens alongside her beloved husband, Charles.
