It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Ura Joyce Brown nee Decker, passed away on Saturday, September 5th, 2015, at the age of 79 years, at the Bonne Bay Health Centre, Norris Pt., NL. Leaving to mourn with loving memories her husband: Edgar of 59 years married, her daughters: Laverne (Steve), Nadine (Craig), Norine (Albert), Marilyn (Pete), and Pansy, her son: Glen, her grandchildren: Gregory, Jody, Patrick, Desmond, Eiesha, Stephanie, Sabrina, Samantha, Sheena, Brad, Brittany, Timonty, Charimaine, Chantal, Chad, and Ashlee, her great-grandchildren: Jacob, Hailey, Katlyn, Theo, Claine, Blair, Abby, Brianna, Alyssa, Amber, Maddie, Peyton, Avery, Emily, Cameron, Austin, and Jazzmen, her sisters: Marie, Serena (Issac), Marion (Gerald), Annie, Patsy (Lyman), her brothers: Anthony (Linda), Aubrey (Mae), and Henry (Rita), her son-in-law: Calvin, her sisters-in-law: Claudine, and Evelina, brothers-in-law: Melvin, and Carl. Mother was predeceased by her daughter Clara (2000), her parents: Mable and Thomas Decker, her mother and father-in-law: Martha and Arch Brown, her brothers: Alex and Emmanuel (Bride), brother, and sisters-in-law: Simon, Ron, Joseph, Annie, and Rosie, mom also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended family and friends. The family will be receiving family and friends from St. Mary's the Virgin Anglican Church in Cow Head, NL. on Monday, September 7th, 2015, from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 pm, where also the funeral service will take place from on Tuesday, September 8th, 2015, at 11 am, with Rev: Terry Rose officiating with the burial to follow at the church cemetery in Cow Head, NL.
