Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, September 6, 2015, Lorne L. Wells of Cupids, aged 72 years. Predeceased by his parents, Arch and Madge (nee Ledrew) Wells. Leaving to mourn, wife, Daphne (nee Thorne), son, Perry (Kim), daughter, Judy (Leonard), grandchildren, Logan, Kayla, Craig and Stephanie, sisters, Grace (Abe) Taylor, Nina (Elliott) Snow and families, brothers-in-law, Adolphus (Pat) Thorne, Gary (Yvonne) Thorne, sisters-in-law, Marjorie Pretty (Colin deceased), Ann (Lew) Day, Ruby (Stacey) Smith and Charlotte (Graham) Rowe, also a large number or neices, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Broughton's Funeral Home, Brigus with visitation on Tuesday from 2-5 P.M. and 7-9 P.M., Wednesday from 2-5 P.M. and 7-9 P.M., Thursday from 10 A.M.- 12 P.M. Funeral to take place on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at 2 P.M. from the Cupids United Church with interment to follow in the U.C. Cemetery, Cupids.
