LOWER SACKVILLE/NEW GLASGOW – David “ Blair” Arnold, 53, Lower Sackville, formerly of New Glasgow, passed away suddenly at home on Friday, September 4, 2015.
Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late Harold and Mary (Arnold) Hattie.
He worked as a professional painter in high regards for many years, in the fire and restoration business, and at Michelin Tire. He always went to great efforts to help those in need and was selfless with what he had to give. He spent his last years helping care for his nephew (Logan) – playing many games, answering endless questions, making many snacks and showing him tremendous love and patience.
Surviving are his brothers, Morris (Heather), Lower Sackville; Darren (Tina), Wolfville; nephew, Logan, nieces, Morgan, Samantha and Courtney; uncles, Elroy (Diane), Lake Charlotte; Hughie, Musquodoboit; Bernie, Dartmouth; and numerous cousins.
Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Thursday, September 10th, and 1 until 2 p.m. Friday, September 11th, in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home 256 King Street, New Glasgow, with funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. in Angus Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Todd MacDonald officiating. Interment will be in Glen Bard Cemetery, James River.
