At the QEH on Monday, September 7, 2015, David Roy Mutch of Mt. Herbert went to heaven.
He left behind his wife and high school sweetheart, Jeni (Young) and two adored children, David "Luke" and Jack Richard, his parents, Charlie and Alma, along with his siblings: Jana, Brad and Leanne.
Dave's friends will remember his mischievous grin. You always knew you would have fun with Dave when his eyes would twinkle and he would rub his hands together. Friends will miss his outstanding cooking, his enjoyment of dropping off appliances, golf cart riding and planning trips and social gatherings. Dave may or may not be missed by the stock car racing community as he loved to give the officials a hard time and the competitors lots to think about. Dave always gave lots of guidance and encouragement to his race team. He admired their commitment and enthusiasm. His co-workers, friends and customers at Wendell Taylor's Garage valued his calm and reasonable attitude as well as his business sense. He loved them like family.
His family will cherish his cuddles, his one liners, his gentleness, his ability to fix everything and all the great deals he would find.
Resting at the Belvedere Funeral Home with visitations on Thursday, September 10, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral to be held at David's home church in Stratford, Cornerstone Baptist Church, on Friday, September 11, 2015 at 10 a.m. Interment at the Mt. Herbert Cemetery for close family and friends to attend. Reception to follow at the church for all those who wish to join the family.
