JARVIS, Antaia Katherine, 97, of Yarmouth, N.S. passed away on September 7th, 2015. Taia was the daughter of Luigi Borgatti and Virgina Lamborghini. She is survived by four daughters: Carol Ann, Mary Kathryn, Louise Olivia and Virgina Gobien. She was very proud of her eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, four of whom were born within the last six months and the most recent on September 2nd. She was predeceased by her loving husband, George Silwyn, her parents, four sisters, one brother and her granddaughter, Julie Day Terrell. An honest and caring person, Taia will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humour, her creative mind, and her love of cats. She was proud and supportive of her daughters varied accomplishments. Taia enjoyed a multitude of interests including golfing and curling, theatre, music, travelling, scrabble, volunteering, the Anglican Church, and several artistic endeavors (including a scribbler of her poems). She and Silwyn delighted in dancing. She will be mourned by many friends and relatives in Welland, Ont., Weston, Ont. and Yarmouth, N.S. The family would like to thank the staff at The Meadows for their excellent, loving care over the past 4 years. The service was held at 2:30pm on Thursday, September 10th, 2015 at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Rev. Helen Chandler officiated. Interment was in Yarmouth Mountain Cemetery.
