Peacefully and with family at his side, at the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside, on Tuesday, February 3, 2009, of Waldon Elmer (Waldie) Ferguson, formerly of Kensington, aged 89 years. Veteran of the Second World War. Cherished husband of 49 years to Mary (MacKay) Ferguson. No. 1 Dad to stepson John (Edith) Ferguson, Norboro; daughters Gayle Johnson, Summerside; Lisa Ferguson, Victoria, B.C., and son Blair (Lisa) Ferguson, Spring Valley. Loving grandfather to Lesley and Chris Ferguson, Dan and Alex Johnson, Jillian and Lauren Ferguson. Brother of Marion Montgomery. Brother-in-law of Ken (Audrey) MacKay, Duncan (Olga) MacKay, Lois (Johnny) Campbell and Mary Jean MacKay. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents John and Mabel (MacKay) Ferguson, brother Vernon, parents-in-law John and Myrtle (Cole) MacKay, brothers-in-law Lorne (Janet), Donald, Wendel (Jean), and Leigh MacKay, Ruth (Steve) Burns and Audrey MacKay. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, for visitation on Friday from 2-4 and 6:30-8 p.m. Funeral Saturday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 10 a.m. Interment later in New London People\'s Cemetery.
