Encircled with the lace of love and admiration of her children and loving family, Agnes Gibbons (nee Hayward), aged 90 years, valiantly took her place in her heavenly home prepared for her by Jesus on Thursday, September 10, 2015. Awaiting her with joy and anticipation are her predeceased relatives including her husband George and infant son James, parents Dennis and Elizabeth Hayward, sisters Rita (Larry) Gibbons and Bessie St. Croix and brothers: Fergus, Cyril (Hannah) and Aloysius. Left to mourn the sadness and loss of her physical presence are her children: Georgina (Lionel) Laurin, Aloysius (Marjorie), Anna LeFave (Ron) and Clem (Juanita); grandchildren: Justin and Adam Gibbons, Brent Fleming, Chelsea and Kristan LeFave, Sophia and Olivia Gibbons, great-grandchildren: Annabelle and Parker Gibbons. She bids farewell to her only surviving sibling Kevin (Catherine) Hayward, brother-in-law Philip St. Croix, sisters-in-law Elizabeth Hayward and Margaret Hayward and a large circle of relatives and friends, including friends and caregivers at St. Patrick's Mercy Home. Agnes will return to her hometown of St. Vincent's, S.M.B., on Saturday, September 12, where visitation will be held at Fr. Battcock Memorial Chapel, from 2-4 pm (family only); 5-9 pm (public) and on Sunday, September 13, from 12-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, September 14, at 9:30 am, at Sacred Heart Church, St. Vincent's. Burial to follow.
