We regret to announce the sudden passing of Patrick Wayne Stevens due to a tragic accident on Sept. 7, 2015
He was the son of the late Patrick and Theresa (Stanovie) Stevens.
In earlier years, Paddy worked in civil culture and carpentry. He was well known in the local community.
Paddy is survived by his son, Patrick Stevens Jr. (Stacey); sisters, Diane (Ken) Saunders, Marilyn (Cliff); brothers, Robert, Kevin and Martin, all of Sydney, his precious grandchildren, Faith and Cheyenne, as well as nieces and nephews.
He will be greatly missed by man’s best friend, his dog 'Poncho'.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held Monday, Sept. 14, 2015 from 2-3 p.m. at the SW Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney, with a memorial service to follow at 3 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Sheldon Chant officiating.
Reception to follow. Burial to follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Sydney Forks.
