It is with heartfelt sadness we announce the passing of Kathleen Mary Schuks (McGregor). Kaye was predeceased by her parents John Everett and Mary Pringle (Smith) McGregor, brothers Angus, Gordon and Neil, sister Thelma and daughter Kathleen. She will be fondly remembered and missed by her children Wayne, Cheryl (Greg), Randy, Sandy (Paddy) and Janice (Derek), eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Born into a pioneering family in Kamloops, she later lived in Wells, Williams Lake, Kelowna, Langley, North Vancouver and Gibsons. Kaye was blessed with an indomitable and generous spirit, facing life head-on with courage, dignity and integrity. Spending time with family was important to her and she was particularly proud of her grandchildren. Kaye's door was always open to family and friends, taking great pleasure in setting an extra plate at her dinner table. She enjoyed golfing with the girls in Kelowna, overseas travel, a good wine with dinner, playing cribbage, political discussions, and all in all - we think she was 'quite a gal'. A memorial service will be held in October. We would like to thank the amazing staff at Christensen Village for their care and nurturing.
