Passed peacefully away at St. Patrick's Mercy Home in her 95th year on September 14, 2015 Genevieve Murphy. Predeceased by her husband Randolph; sisters, Isabel Austin, Frances (Dan) Meades; brothers, James (Mary) and Rex (Mildred) Austin; sisters-in-law, Gertrude (Sandy) Sanders, Vera Murphy, and brother-in-law Francis Murphy. Leaving to mourn nieces, Gail (William, deceased) Kirby, Diane (Joseph, deceased) McGrath, Jennifer (Alan) Whike and Linda (Carlos) Dell-Elce, Elaine (Fred) Jurkofsky, Joyce (Steve) Byers; nephews, James (Patricia) and John Austin, Danny (Linda) Meades, Randy (Flo) Murphy, David (Connie) Murphy, John (Kate) Sanders and a number of grand and great-grand-nieces and nephews. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Thursday, Sept. 17, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral from St. Patrick's Mercy Home Chapel, on Friday, September 18, 2015 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Topsail Road.
