STEEVES, ROBERT "BOB"
Robert “Bob” Lawrence Steeves, 75, of Petitcodiac, passed away at the Jordan Lifecare Centre on September 14, 2015. Born on September 18, 1939 in Moncton, he was a son of the late Lawrence and Marion (nee McNair) Steeves.
Bob was a member of St. Andrew’s Anglican Church from where he was the treasurer for many years and a member of the choir. He began his working career in the bank, followed by 34 years of working at Modern Construction, where he ended his career as a contract auditor. In his spare time he enjoyed gardening and spending time in the woods.
Bob will be forever missed by his loving wife, Carolyn Steeves (nee McBride); by his daughter Jennifer Hyett (Rick Newman) of Moncton; by his son Matthew Steeves of Riverview; by his grandson Damian Hyett (Ashley Connolly) of Fredericton; by his brother Kenneth Steeves (Carolyn) of Intervale; as well as by many extended family members and friends.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of Armstrong’s Funeral Home, 33 Russell St., Petitcodiac, from where visitation will be held on Thursday September 17, 2015 from 5 to 8 pm. The funeral service will be held on Friday September 18, 2015 at 3:00 pm in St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, Petitcodiac with Rev. Chris Hayes presiding. Interment will be held in St. Mark’s Anglican Cemetery in Jackson Falls at a later date.
Donations to Anglican Parish of Salisbury and Havelock, Jordan Lifecare Centre or Friends of the Moncton Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
