Passed peacefully away at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander on March 23, 2008 in her 91st year, Gertie Butt of Glovertown, formerly of Flat Island, Bonavista Bay. Predeased by her husband, Clyde (2004), three sisters and three brothers. Left with fond and loving memories are daughters Edith (Bill) Feltham and Linda (Bill) Layden; sons, Gus (Ann) and Tom (Daphne); nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; Jean Abbott (sister) and a large circle of close friends and relatives. Funeral service was held on March 26th at Faith United with interment at Hillside Memorial Garden. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Oram's Funeral Home.
