
Lise Cormier
CORMIER, LISE ANN
Lise Cormier passed away with loving family members by her side on Saturday, August 29th 2015 at the Victoria General Hospital in Halifax at the age of 60. She was the beloved daughter of the late Dr. PaulCormier D.D.S., of Moncton and the late Ann (Fleming) R.N., of Edmonton.
She was born in Moncton and leaves behind her brother Bob and Lynda Jean of Moncton; her sister Karen (Wilson) and husband Terry (Moncton); her nephews Nicolas (Montreal), Daniel (Moncton) and niece Kailee(Ottawa). She will be greatly missed by her relatives on her father’s side; the Chandler’s, and both Cormier families as well as relatives on her mother’s side: the Trepaniers’ and Dupuis’ families.
In addition, she will be sadly missed by Mrs. Margaret Hubley, companion of many years of Lise’s father, Paul and Lise’s many friends across Canada.
As a young girl Lise enjoyed many summers at the cottage in Shediac, sailing and enjoying the company of her friends.
A graduate of the Information Technology Program at NBCC, Moncton Campus in 1982, Lise was a Technical Writer at York St. Software in Fredericton, K-Mart Canada Head Office in Toronto, and FastLane/Quest Software in Halifax. She continued her personal and professional education at colleges in Toronto and enjoyed a 2-year American Sign Language program. Lise also completed several courses at Dalhousie University in Halifax. She loved art galleries, museums, theatre, stand-upcomedy, rock concerts, curling, cross-stitch, reading and movies. Lise was the layout editor for many of the NS Bird Society's publications. She retired in Halifax with her beloved cat, Mulder. Lise was a fierce and loyal friend who touched many people with her kind and generous heart. Lise will be sorely missed by those she leaves behind.
The family would like to thank all Lise’s friends, in particular Pam, Terry and Faye for their unstinting support they generously gave to Lise in these last few years of her life.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday September 25th 2015, at the Four Points by Sheraton hotel;40 Lady Ada Boulevard, Moncton, N.B. E1G 0E3 from 5 to 7 p.m. Lise will be interred in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery, beside her mother, as she wished.
