DONOVAN, MARY THERESA
Mrs. Mary Theresa (Brennan) Donovan, wife of Francis Joseph Donovan of Renous, N.B., passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2015, at her residence at the age of 85. Born in Howard’s, N.B., she was the daughter of the late George and Isabelle (Colford) Brennan.
She was a homemaker, a CareGiver and a member of St. Bridget’s Roman Catholic Church, Renous, N.B.
Besides her husband, Francis, she is survived by two daughters: Valerie Donovan (Mario Theriault) of Fredericton and Jennifer Bustard of Fredericton; four sons: Brad (Hazel) of Renous, David of Weyburn, SK, Jeff (Sandra) of Blackville and Sean of Miramichi; two sisters: Georgina Szpakowski of Oakville, ON, and Gracie Mersereau of Fredericton; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one son, John; three sisters: Antoinette, Pauline and Veronica; and two brothers: Bart and Joseph.
The family would like to thank everyone who offered support and sympathy during this difficult time, as well as Father Joseph Woods and Father Vince Donovan for officiating at the funeral mass. And thank you to the ladies of the parish for providing the reception after the burial.
