He is predeceased by his loving wife Joan, son Gary, grandson Dustin, and sisters Betty and Louise.
He will be lovingly remembered by Millie, sister Caroline, son Terry (Donna), daughters Georgina (Kerry) and Caroline (Darcy), six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
George enjoyed life: traveling, camping, golfing, curling and singing the tunes of Wilf Carter. He shared his love of music with everyone.
Younger years were spent raising his family, logging, fishing and hunting on the Sunshine Coast.

Friends and family are gathering at the Senior Citizens Hall, 170 - 5th Ave., S.E., Salmon Arm, Saturday, September 26th from 2pm to 4 pm to celebrate his life and share stories.
