McNEIL, Walter Linwood, 86, Roseway Manor, formerly of Jordan Falls, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 18, 2015. Born July 13, 1929, was placed in an orphanage and adopted by Joseph and Frances McNeil of Cardigan, P.E.I., where he grew up. He served 25 years in the RCAF and was stationed in Quebec, Ontario and New Brunswick with several postings to Germany and France. He was a quiet man who enjoyed the hobby of model ship building and playing his guitar. He will be sadly missed by wife Marilyn; sons, Stephen (Jerona), Dartmouth; Danny; Brad (Linda); and daughter, Laura Lee (Mike) Biggar. He leaves behind seven grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, September 21 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. in H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Shelburne where the funeral service will take place on Tuesday, September 22 at 2pm. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Gideon Bibles, Roseway Manor or charity of choice.
