WILLIAMS, LÉONIE
Léonie Williams, 101, passed away peacefully of Saturday September 19th, 2015 at Villa Providence Shediac. Born in Shediac on September 5th, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Marie Belle (Comeau) Richard.
Léonie will be sadly missed by her adopted son Émile Richard (Annette), one grandson: Dr. Serge Richard, (Dr. Natasha Dionne), one great granddaughter: Sophie Richard and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Edward (Ned) Williams; four her sisters: Florida Landry, Obéline LeBlanc, Mary A. M. Jones, Éleonore Cormier and one brother, Gérald Richard.
By request, there will be no visitation. The funeral mass will be held at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 415 Main Street, Shediac on September 23rd, 2015 at 10:30am.
In memory of Léonie, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated by the family.
