WESTVILLE – David Bruce Patterson, 60, Westville, formerly of Hopewell, passed away Monday, September 21, 2015.
Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late Robert William Patterson and Constance Rebecca (Eldridge) Reynolds. David worked in construction, roofing and siding, and painting for many years. He enjoyed watching sports and was an ardent Toronto Maple Leafs fan. David was a gentle, private person, who worked hard and loved to work. He will be missed by those who loved him.
Surviving are his sisters, Lynn Mattatall, New Glasgow; Vivian Patterson, Angus, Ont.; Anne MacKay, Edmonton, Alta.; brothers, William, New Glasgow; Blaine “Rick” (Angie), Walkerville; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive visitors 6-8 p.m. Wednesday in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens with Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating. www.pkmacdonald.ca
