The death occurred at his late residence, on Monday, September 21, 2015, of Allen Lecky, of Summerside, aged 70 years. Born in O’Leary, he was the son of the late William “Willie” and Alfreda (Griffin) Lecky. Survived by his children Noelle Lecky Gallant (Nancy Burtch), Andrew (Tia) Lecky, Jeffery Lecky (Shawn Perry) and Ken (Jacqueline) Lecky; by their mother Dorothy (Perry) Lecky; grandchildren Danielle and Quinton Gallant, Wilson and Griffin Lecky; sisters Hester (Peter) MacIsczyk, Norma (Murray) McColeman, Shirley (John) Bowness, Judy (Alex) Dowhaniuk and Donna (Brian) Fitzpatrick; and by a brother-in-law Fred Drechsel. Predeceased by his brother Claude Lecky and sister Helena Drechsel. Resting at Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Saturday, then to St. John the Baptist Church, Miscouche, for funeral mass at 2:00 p.m. Interment in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Summerside.
