Peter Lanning Betts, 69, passed away peacefully Saturday September 19, 2015 at the Provincial Palliative Care Centre in Charlottetown, PEI after a short battle with cancer.
Peter, son of Dr. Robert and Madeline Betts, was born August 11, 1946 in New Jersey. Peter went to college in Maine before settling in Stephenville, NL where he raised his three beloved children. He later moved to Charlottetown, P.E.I.
Peter is predeceased by his parents and daughter, Heidi. He is survived by his siblings Robert (Carol) in NL, Richard in Colorado, David in Maine, and Carole in P.E.I.; his sons, Aric (Helle) in N.S. and Bryan (Tina) in Massachusetts; and grandchildren, Alan, Madeline, Patricia and Brianna.
