Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy hospital after a lengthy battle with COPD. Predeceased by parents Walter and Mary; sisters Shirley and Patsy; brother Walter; parents in law Rodrick and Marjorie (Owens); and sister in law Linda. Leaving to mourn, his wife and love of his life Heather (Owens); his son and best friend Patrick Jr. (Amy); his very close brother Gerry (Marie); four loving grandchildren Chantelle, Keara, Connor and Keiyannah; as well as many brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews and friends, with a special mention to Ruby (Freddy) Walsh and Gary Bradbury. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Friday, September 25 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Saturday, September 26 at 2 p.m. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the Payton Family.
