It is with saddened hearts that we, the family of Anne Marie (Purcell) Wycliffe, announce her death in Halifax on Sept. 19, 2015.
She was born in Sydney on June 11, 1955, the eldest daughter of Robert 'Bob' Purcell and Margaret 'Dudy' (MacDonald) Purcell. She attended Holy Angels High School, studied at Dalhousie University and worked as a dental hygienist in the public schools for many years.
She was predeceased by her mother Margaret (MacDonald) Purcell, and is survived by her husband, Richard, and loving daughter, Brenna; by her father, Robert (Annette) Purcell, Sydney; sisters, Jane (Kim) Carroll, Sydney, Susan (Heinz) Gaube, Halifax; brother, Russell, Halifax, with whom she spent a lot of time; as well as by many close cousins, nieces and a nephew. She is also survived by stepbrothers, Thomas and Andrew Lathigee, and stepsister, Anita Lathigee Dalton, all of Halifax.
Cremation has taken place. Celebration of the Eucharist will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 17 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 26 Purcell's Cove Rd., Halifax.
