The death occurred peacefully, surrounded by her family, at the Palliative Care Unit of Community Hospital, O’Leary, on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015, of Margaret “Peggy” Ann Sharpe, of O’Leary, aged 65 years, beloved wife of Gordon Sharpe. Born on July 9, 1950, in Alberton, daughter of the late Cecil and Isabelle (Lewis) Gray. Loving mother to Karen Milligan, Cascumpec. Special Nanny to Ashton Sharpe (Janelle Whitrow), Jacob and Peyton Milligan. Peggy is also survived by sisters Audrey (Jim) MacFarlane, Alberton; Helen Delaney, O’Leary; Linda (Raeford) Rogers, Glengarry; Betty (Donald) Robinson, Coleman; sisters and brothers-in-law Neva MacKay, Summerside; Roma (Earl) O’Meara, Ont.; Alan (Pat) Sharpe, West Point; Dale (David) McCue, Tignish; Tony (Angela) Sharp, West Point; Nancy (Jimmy) Arsenault, Summerside; Oswald (Chris) Sharpe, Whitby, Ont.; Roger (Claudette) Sharpe, O’Leary; Beverley (Bernard) Jeffery, Coleman; Leila (Danny) Lynch, Fortune Cove; Lillian (Dale) Lynch, Enfield, N.S.; and Paul Sharpe, Alaska. Peggy was predeceased by her parents, daughter Kelly Lee, and brothers Leslie, Walter, Adney and Leslie in infancy. Resting at Ferguson Funeral and Chapel, O’Leary, with visiting hours on Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2015, from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2015, at 11 a.m. in the chapel. Interment to follow in Union Baptist Cemetery. In memory of Peggy, memorials to Home Care West Prince Palliative Care or Union Baptist Cemetery would be appreciated.
