Passed away suddenly at his residence on September 25, 2015, at the age of 62. Predeceased by his parents John and Gladys Richards; brother David; half-brothers: Cecil and Edwin; half-sister Shirley; ex-wife Heather Bartlett. Leaving to mourn his long-time partner Joy Taylor; his loving children: Nikki (James) and John-Paul (Jennifer); grandsons: Benjamin, Thomas, and Finn. Dearly loved and deeply mourned by his sister Daisy Scammell and niece Valerie Alldred. Also survived by nine nephews and many friends. Paul was an avid animal lover and leaves his dear adored Labrador retriever Meaghen, who will now make her home with Nikki in Lawrencetown, Nova Scotia. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Tuesday, September 29 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral service to be held at the Anglican Cathedral of St. John the Baptist on Wednesday, September 30 at 2 pm, cremation to follow.
