The passing of Elizabeth “Betty” Mary Young, age 66 of Dover Road, occurred at the Kings County Memorial Hospital Tuesday September 29, 2015 after a brief illness.
Born in Montague, July 9, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Irene (Collins) Murphy.
Betty is survived by her devoted husband Frederick Young; loving children Leonard (Barbie) Young, Mary Perry (Chad), Cathy MacLean; nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a son, Anthony “Tony” Young; brothers Jackie and David Murphy; son-in-law John Allen MacLean.
Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with visiting on Friday October 2, 2015 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral service to take place on Saturday October 3, in the Funeral Home Chapel at 10:30 a.m.
